Kingman Necklace

This is not a stone shape you see too often! A necklace you should add to your collection while you can! A small amount of matrix can be found throughout the whole stone! The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona was one of the largest turquoise mines in North America. It is owned by the Colbaugh family, along with the Turquoise Mountain Mine. The terms “Kingman” or “high blue” refer to the blue color usually displayed in this stone. It has become a color standard in the industry. The mine became famous for its rounded, bright blue nuggets with black matrix. Few turquoise mines produced nuggets, especially of this quality. Old natural Kingman Turquoise is rare to find, but they have been mining new Kingman Turquoise recently. This piece is so stunning and easy to fall in love with! Artist stamp MP & stamped sterling. The dimensions of this pendant are 1 1/2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide at the widest part. This pendant will fit Navajo Pearls up to 6MM (Sold Separately).
