These stones have a soft, warm tint and a hazy, webbed matrix, reminiscent of tree limbs that have long since gone without bright new blooms and photographs faded by sun-drenched time. Nevertheless, we can picture their golden days with fondness: sprawling, leafy canopies casting cool shadows, loved ones gathered in great fun beneath as they pose for the portrait.
