Bumblebee Jasper was only recently discovered in the 1990’s in Papandayan Volcan, West Java Province, Indonesia.

Bumblebee jasper is thusly named because of its bright yellow stripes, contrasted with other darker layer stripes, making it look somewhat like a bee. Bumblebee Jasper is a combination of volcanic matters.
