White Buffalo is a beautiful white stone with fine black spider web or kind of a blotchy matrix. Sometimes you will also see brownish black matrix. White Buffalo is formed from the minerals Calcite and Iron. White Buffalo is only found in one mine near Tonopah, Nevada. This mine is actually closed and White Buffalo is becoming more and more rare to find! The only difference between White Buffalo and the classic turquoise you are used to seeing is a lack of copper. Copper is what gives turquoise it’s bluish green hues and so White Buffalo just stayed white! It is a very rare form of turquoise and just stunning!
